Aims and Scope
Food and Drug Safety is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal that publishes original research and critical reviews covering all aspects of food and drug safety. The journal aims to promote the scientific understanding and technological innovation that ensure the safety, quality, and efficacy of foods and pharmaceuticals from production to consumption. It serves as a platform for interdisciplinary exchange among scientists, regulators, and industry professionals in the fields of food science, pharmacology, toxicology, and public health.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Food contaminants, residues, and foodborne pathogens
  • Risk assessment and management in food systems
  • Safety evaluation of food additives, novel ingredients, and functional foods
  • Toxicological and pharmacological safety assessment of drugs and biologics
